Annual Events in New Orleans
Known as the Festival Capital of the World, New Orleans welcomes a host of visitors for a number of celebrations each year. From Mardi Gras to the AllState Sugar Bowl, parades, festivals, concerts and marathons fill the calendar each month to make New Orleans a year-long destination of flavor and fun.
Mardi Gras
A grand celebration marking the end of Carnival season, which begins on Epiphany, January 6, Mardi Gras is a joyous annual event with almost daily parades throughout New Orleans.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is packed with flavor! Starting in 1970, the Jazz Festival celebrates the rich history and culture of New Orleans and the diverse music styles born from the city.
Crescent City Classic in New Orleans
When warmer weather approaches, the Allstate Sugar Bowl Crescent City Classic 10K takes place. Tourists can expect to get their adrenaline pumping with the exciting events that follow!
