  • Hotel Policies
  • Historic Preservation Fee  

    A nightly historic preservation fee of $20 plus tax per night will be collected at check-in. This fee has been established to provide funding to restore and maintain historic elements of our 116-year-old hotel.  
  • Alcohol 

    Please be advised that guests must be 21 or older to purchase and consume alcohol at the hotel. No alcohol purchased outside the hotel may be consumed in public areas of the hotel. Alcoholic beverages are permitted to be carried outside the hotel if they are not in glass containers.  
  • Cancellation  

    The cancellation policy will vary based on the rate plan and booking date(s). Please see "Reservation Policy and Confirmation" when checking availability and booking reservations.  
  • Cash & Checks 

    We do not accept cash or personal checks. All transactions must be completed with a debit or credit card.  
  • Check-In  

    Check-in time is after 4 p.m. The minimum age to check into the hotel is 21 years old. We are happy to accommodate early arrivals based on availability. A fee of $75 plus 16.2% tax will apply to all arrivals before noon.  
  • Check-Out

    Check-out time is at 11 a.m. Fees may be applied for late departures. Please contact the front desk for availability and fee information.  
  • Connecting Rooms  

    Connecting rooms are not available at our hotel.  
  • Credit Cards 

    Most major credit cards are accepted with a valid picture ID. Upon check-in, the estimated charges plus an additional $100 per night for incidentals will be authorized. The authorization amount will appear as an immediate charge for debit card users. Unused authorizations are released at check-out but may take up to 10 days to process.  
  • Currency  

    All rates and charges are quoted and processed in U.S. dollars.  
  • Deposits  

    When booking, an advance deposit equal to one night's room, tax, and historic preservation fee will be charged to your debit or credit card. Declined charges will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation.  
  • Early Departure  

    A fee of one night's room, tax, and historic preservation fee will be charged for all early departures. Refunds will not be issued for fully prepaid reservations.  
  • Housekeeping 

    Housekeeping service is provided daily. 
  • Hurricanes & Severe Weather  

    The cancellation policy will only be waived if a tropical storm or hurricane watch is announced for Orleans Parish. The hotel will remain open unless local authorities order a mandatory evacuation. If a mandatory evacuation is issued, all guests and employees must evacuate. There are no exceptions to this policy. Should a major weather event result in a state or federal declaration of emergency, the hotel reserves the right to cancel any reservations over the prescribed period without penalty to guests and without reaccommodation. 
  • ID Requirements  

    A valid government-issued ID is required for registration and all debit and credit card transactions.  
  • Parking  

    Valet parking with in-and-out privileges is available to all meeting attendees and registered guests. The overnight valet rate is $52 plus a 12.45% parking tax.  
  • Payment  

    Payments must be rendered in full at the time of check-out or when services are provided. Failure to settle charges could result in denial of service, debt collection fees and/or legal action.  
  • Pets  

    Pets must be dogs under 50 pounds; some breed restrictions may apply. There is a limit of two dogs per guest room. The non-refundable pet cleaning charge is $150 plus 16.2% hotel tax per stay. An additional cleaning fee will be applied if a room change occurs. Additional fees will be charged if damage occurs. Pets are to be secured in the guest room in a crate should the guest need to step our for a brief amount of time. A cleaning fee will not be charged for service animals. Emotional support animals are not considered service animals under ADA regulations or Louisiana law, and a cleaning fee will be applied.  Pets disturbing the quiet enjoyment of other guests, or displaying aggressive behavior will be asked to leave the hotel. 
  • Photography & Videography

    Le Pavillon is private property and maintains a strict policy against the use of its hotel grounds (all interior spaces, exterior grounds, etc.) for unauthorized professional or commercial photography/videography purposes. Unauthorized professional photographers/videographers will be asked to leave the hotel property immediately.

    Professional photography on the hotel’s grounds is offered exclusively to guests who have contracted a catering event or group room block within the hotel. These guests will work with their sales manager at the hotel regarding the details of their planned photography/videography session, including pre-arranging a specific date and time, logistics and providing a certificate of insurance in advance.

  • Rollaway Bed  

    Rollaway beds are not available at our hotel. 
  • Smoking

    All public areas, guest rooms, and dining areas are 100% non-smoking. Vaping indoors is not permitted. A fee of $300 plus 16.2% tax will be applied if there is evidence of smoking in the hotel.  
  • Room Capacities

    Each room has a maximum number of occupants allowed.  Housing more guests in a room than the designated capacity permits is a life safety issue.  Guests with more people in their rooms than permitted will be required to reduce the number of people in the room or purchase an additional room.
