A nightly historic preservation fee of $15 plus tax per night will be collected at check-in. This fee has been established to provide funding to restore and maintain historic elements of our 116-year-old hotel.
Please be advised that guests must be 21 or older to purchase and consume alcohol at the hotel. No alcohol purchased outside the hotel may be consumed in public areas of the hotel. Alcoholic beverages are permitted to be carried outside the hotel if they are not in glass containers.
Check-in time is after 3 p.m. The minimum age to check into the hotel is 21 years old. We are happy to accommodate early arrivals based on availability. A fee of $75 plus 16.2% tax will apply to all arrivals before noon.
All major credit cards are accepted with a valid picture ID. Upon check-in, the estimated charges plus an additional $90 per night for incidentals will be authorized. The authorization amount will appear as an immediate charge for debit card users. Unused authorizations are released at check-out but may take up to 10 days to process.
When booking, an advance deposit equal to one night's room, tax, and historic preservation fee will be charged to your debit or credit card. Declined charges will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation.
The cancellation policy will only be waived if a tropical storm or hurricane watch is announced for Orleans Parish. The hotel will remain open unless local authorities order a mandatory evacuation. If a mandatory evacuation is issued, all guests and employees must evacuate. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Pets must be dogs under 50 pounds; some breed restrictions may apply. There is a limit of two dogs per guest room. The non-refundable pet cleaning charge is $150 plus 16.2% hotel tax per stay. An additional cleaning fee will be applied if a room change occurs. Additional fees will be charged if damage occurs. Pets are to be secured in the guest room for a prolonged period. A cleaning fee will not be charged for service animals. Emotional support animals are not considered service animals under ADA regulations or Louisiana law, and a cleaning fee will be applied.
