Experience Mardi Gras in New Orleans
Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday, begins two Fridays before Ash Wednesday and the celebration lasts a week and a half. In New Orleans, that means celebrating big with parades and festivals that begin on January 6, the Epiphany. New Orleans Krewes, which are local organizations, hold parades almost daily and nightly throughout the city. Le Pavillon is a hotel close to New Orleans Mardi Gras events, particularly those in the Garden District. Enjoy an upclose view of the parades as they stroll down St. Charles, just steps from Le Pavillon. La Pavillon is also conveniently located near the French Quarter, which is known for its over-the-top antics particularly during this holiday.Details
