The WWII Museum is a must see for history lovers, and has recently been named the No. 3 museum in the nation. Housed in 3 buildings, the Museum includes artifacts from the men and women who lived through the War, as well as films, lectures and interactive experiences. Learn about the tanks and aircraft that were an integral part of the engagement, and after a day spent absorbing the lessons of the past, raise a glass and have a delicious meal at the American Sector restaurant, which offers up fun Happy Hour specials. The WWII Museum, which has been designated by the U.S. Congress as America's official WWII meseum, is conveniently located near Le Pavillon Hotel.

    The US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center covers the ways technological innovations helped the Allies. Beyond All Boundaries is a multi-sensory cinema experience produced by Tom Hanks in the Solomon Victory Theater. It gives viewers a feeling of what soldiers experienced on the frontline.

    USA Today has called the National WWII Museum one of the "Best Places to Learn about U.S. Military History." Kids love visiting the Victory Garden, where they can make a connection between today's sustainable food growing practices and the methods used in the 1940s during WWII. There are special Family Activities for which you can register in advance offered throughout the year, and fun pajama parties that sell out quickly.
