SUITE 730
The European Palace Suite

An 18th Century European Palace is the theme for this spacious one bedroom suite with a sitting area. It has a hand carved fireplace mantle from Scotland along with a four-poster canopy bed. A reproduction tapestry from the Windsor Castle surrounds the bed providing warmth and privacy. The fireplace mantle is quite simply one of the world's finest hand carved wooden mantles known to exist. It is solid mahogany, and was intricately carved for a European castle.

This suite has a large floor-to-ceiling marble bathroom with double 24k gold-plated wash basins, marble vanities, walk-in double-headed shower, crystal chandeliers, and a stained glass window. The piece dè resistance is an extremely rare and priceless marble bathtub purported to have been owned by Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France. It is hand carved from a solid block of white carrera marble. It is said that the Louisiana Purchase was signed by Napoleon in a marble tub. It is one of only three known to exist in the world today. One of them is proudly displayed in The Louvre Museum in Paris, France, while the other is in a private collection.
